Including Kendall Jenner's favourite Alta bracelet

Monica Vinader's Boxing Day sale is one of the few worth bookmarking. Because, while most retailers are privy to several red-tag events per year, the jewellery brand is more selective in its discounting.

When MV does reduce its coveted jewellery, however, the reductions are very generous. So generous, in fact, that the Black Friday event caused quite the frenzy back in November – with entry to the site waitlisted. We imagine it'll be much of the same for Boxing Day, given that there's up to 60 per cent off new-season jewellery at Monica Vinader.

If you managed to miss someone off your gifting list or have virtual New Year's Eve plans that demand some statement earrings, now is the time to act. Then again, there's no better time to browse for yourself than in that post-Christmas lull where life feels very quiet (even more so given the current situation). Many of us are in need of a pick me-up after many cancelled, or lacklustre, December plans.

What to buy, then? We have Kendall Jenner's favourite Alta bracelet on our wish list. The model has been photographed in this contemporary chain-link design four times this year, wearing it with everything from summer crop tops to elegant evening looks.

She sticks to gold tones but the silver version, which is perhaps even more wearable, is currently 40 per cent off in the sale.

Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber's Groove Curve necklace, in sterling silver, is also reduced today. Wear it solo or team with the brand's baroque pearl pendant.

If you prefer gold tones, the vermeil bracelet is also reduced by 40 per cent.

We've also spotted the bracelet version of Duchess of Cambridge's Siren wire earrings (the green pair she's worn on countless occasions since 2016) in the mix.

This delicate chain bracelet is made from gold-vermeil centred with a sparkling green onyx bezel pendant. It'd make the perfect finishing touch to relaxed outfits – think a slip dress or knitted loungewear.

If you haven't found your favourite MV pieces in the current lineup, the brand has promised there will be 24-hour flash sales dropping throughout the next week.

Flash sales are usually a red flag where sustainability is concerned, but Monica Vinader is working hard on its eco-credentials at the moment. The jewellery brand now only uses 100 per cent recycled gold vermeil and sterling silver and all diamonds are ethically mined. At the end of this year, this savvy switch will have saved 2,275,623 kg GHG in emissions. What's more, the brand further offsets any emissions generated from production and shipping in order to maintain full carbon neutrality.
