MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (WHDH) - Authorities announced on Friday that New Hampshire police are seeking help from the public to track down a pair of suspected brazen thefts in which a woman ripped off a $9,000 necklace from her neck.

According to the Manchester Police Department, on the afternoon of November 26, the police officers involved in the robbery in a house on Frederick Street in Manchester talked to a resident. She said an unknown woman was passing by And offered to sell her something.

The police said that when the residents refused, the woman asked for a hug, leaned in without consent, pulled off her 24K gold necklace, and then fled in a black SUV. A man drove them away.

The victim told the police that she had a dragon flag and a pipe on her necklace.

After investigation, the police determined that the suspects were Danunt and Alexandra Miclescu, both 38 years old. Alexandra is wanted for robbery and Danunt faces criminal charges for robbery.

Police said the couple drove a Chevrolet Tahoe with a New Hampshire license plate on the day of the alleged robbery. They may also drive Ford SUVs with Texas license plates.

No other details are immediately available.
