For autumn/winter 22, German jewellery brand Thomas Sabo looks to the mythical phoenix and icy polar worlds for inspiration, alongside a new brooch collection.

Jewellery brand Thomas Sabo is taking its customers on a magical flight and a sparkling adventure for the new season.

Led by creative director Aurore Melot and the eponymous company founder, the German brand’s first new autumn/winter 22 collection is a fantasy-inspired offering called Rising Phoenix.

The mythical phoenix bird appears across necklace pendants and as stylised wings on chokers, bracelets, earrings and rings.

Colours reflect the night sky, including blue, pink and violet across large, hand-set and hand-cut stones in teardrop-shaped diamond cuts.

Each design is available in polished 925 sterling silver or 18-carat rose gold plating.

The highlight of the Rising Phoenix collection is a necklace with a three-dimensional bird pendant that is over 7cm long. It features hand-finished details and is embellished with more than 130 stones. Vibrant zirconia sparkles on the long, curved tail feathers, while its finely engraved claws carry a small cultured freshwater pearl.

For the Thomas Sabo Charm Club, which consists of seasonal collectable charms on rings, earrings and pendants for customisable necklaces and bracelets, the autumn/winter 22 Charming Polar World designs take inspiration from polar wildlife and the landscape’s icy sparkle.

Animals including an arctic fox, penguins and polar bears come in three-dimensional shapes with hand painted enamel, alongside glittering snowflakes. Available in polished 925 sterling silver or 18-carat rose gold plating, the snowflakes are hand-set with white zirconia stones across rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

The new season collection also features an assortment of statement brooches in 925 sterling silver.

They come with sparkly stars, shimmering pearls, phoenix wings, stars and moons, taking inspiration from and complementing the Thomas Sabo jewellery pieces.

The brooches are designed to be worn in several different ways: on a scarf, hat, coat or top, on a collar, at the neckline or classically pinned over the left side of the chest.

All of the new Thomas Sabo collections will be available from Thomas Sabo online, in store and from selected wholesale partners from 24 September 2022.
