Last year, the Spring/Summer New York Fashion Week in September was promptly followed by fashion’s biggest night, aka the 2021 Met Gala. In 2022, the event coincides with television’s biggest night of the year — the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards — which took place on Sept. 12. The high-profile gathering recognizes the most outstanding talent in national primetime programming — but you shouldn’t underestimate its jewelry potential, either. Fresh off of the NYFW front rows, celebrities arrived at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, all primed and ready to showcase their best jewelry looks at the 2022 Emmys ceremony.

With the help of their trusty stylists, A-listers like Elle Fanning, Zendaya, and HoYeon Jung debuted the most dazzling designs from renowned high jewelry houses like Cartier, Bvlgari, and Tiffany & Co. The most sparkling attendees of the night went all out with lustrous rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and hair accessories that were covered with dozens of diamonds. Meanwhile, other celebs like Laverne Cox and Julia Garner, topped off their red carpet fashions with a single piece like a pair of earrings, as to not take away from their dazzling attire. All in all, the best bling of the night is sure to offer you a ton of inspiration, no matter your personal jewelry preference.

Bvlgari’s brand ambassador Zendaya wore an assortment of white gold jewels from the luxury label. Her look included a necklace with over 17 carats of diamonds, a pair of stud earrings, and an oval ring encrusted with dozens of luminous gems.

Witherspoon went all out with her jewelry at the 2022 Emmy Awards. Her necklace alone, which came from Tiffany & Co., featured over 210 carats of jewels. She finished the look with diamond stud earrings and a ring encrusted with diamonds and an aquamarine, both from the same jewelry label.

As a presenter at the 2022 Emmys, Gomez stunned the crowd with her look that included a pair of pendant earrings with dangling emerald beads. What’s more, she added a matching ring that was set with diamonds and a 7.43 carat emerald.

Jung completed her red carpet look, courtesy of Louis Vuitton, with a delicate flower hair broach at the top of her bangs.

Garner complemented her Gucci gown with a single accessory: a pair of Ortyx hoop earrings from Swarovski.

Oh’s bling came from California-based jeweler Cathy Waterman. She wore the label’s Morganite Long Bamboo earrings and Kunzite diamond ring, which were both made from recycled platinum.

Fanning wore a bow-shaped hair pin and a sparkling necklace around her neck, both from Bvlgari.

Washington, who was both a presenter and a nominee at the 2022 Emmys, chose a white gold necklace, which was encrusted with 25 diamonds, and teamed it with diamond earrings and a ring. All of her baubles came from Bvlgari.

Seyfried wore a pair of platinum diamond drop earrings, plus a trio of wedding bands, from Cartier.

With the help of her trusty stylist Amanda Lim, Brown added an array of jewels to her Christopher Kane gown: a pair of unconventional geometric earrings from LARISSA MORAES, an eat cuff and a Snake Coil bracelet from Luis Morais, a medley of rings from Dale Novick and White/Space, and a Five Row Flexible Coil Bracelet from Nicole Rose. In addition, she wore OMEGA’s Mini Trésor Moonshine watch on her left wrist.

Einbinder’s luxe accessories came from Briony Raymond. She wore a vintage necklace, circa 1990, plus a pair of studs and Etoile Eternity Bands, all made from white gold and covered in diamonds.

James added a generous amount of jewels to her red carpet look. She wore a total of eight pieces, all from De Beers: four rings, three bangles, and a pair of dainty hoop earrings.

Brosnahan’s Cartier baubles shone bright on the gold carpet. She wore a duo of rings, a sapphire and diamond-encrusted necklace from the label’s High Jewelry collection, and a single white gold earring that was also covered in diamonds.

Cox’s chunky earrings came from Cicada and perfectly complemented her Jean Paul Gaultier look.

Styled by Micah Schifman, Smart accessorized her Christian Siriano look with a variety of jewels from Rahaminov — including two diamond rings and a pair of pear-shaped diamond earrings.

Rae sported Boucheron jewelry on the gold carpet. Her look featured a pair of pendant drop earrings encrusted with emeralds, diamonds, onyx, and rock crystals, as well as a Vendôme diamond bracelet and a feather-shaped Caresse de Plume ring.
