TWO FALL STYLES FROM NORDSTROM USING THE SAME PAIR OF JEANS - 50 IS NOT OLD

I’m loving the crispness in the air that tells me fall is almost here. Fall clothing is my favorite, and I’ve got TWO fall styles from Nordstrom to show you today.

Both of the fall styles from Nordstrom will feature Olive Green. I’m starting to think that Olive Green is the new black since I’m wearing it almost daily.

Double Breasted Wool Blend Peacoat is probably my favorite purchase I’ve made this fall, and that’s saying a lot. I love the quality of the coat, and the rich navy color is a fabulous neutral that looks great with all the colors of fall. I’ve seen comments about this being a short jacket, but I don’t think it’s short at all. I’m 5’6″ tall, and this hits me at the hip line. I ordered a size 10, and it fits me great, even with the heavy sweater underneath. The material is nice and heavy, but it is also soft. I’m truly impressed with the jacket, and I can’t wait to style this classic piece again.

I included this view so that you can see the length of the coat from the back.

These Madewell Vintage Jeans are perfect! These have a high waist and slightly tapered legs, and I love the frayed hem. The hem is a detail that is modern, and it shows you pay attention to the trends. I wasn’t sure what size I would need, so I ordered a size 28 and 29. The 29 fit me great, and I love the length that allows me to show off my fall and winter boots.

See why I don’t want to hide these gorgeous Western Boots? These have been the boots I’ve found myself reaching for the most this fall. They are a beautiful rich color, and I like the zipper detail. (you can’t see it šŸ™„) These boots are surprisingly comfortable, and the chunky heel helps me to keep my balance better than a stiletto heel. These run TTS; I’m wearing my usual size 9.

I know a lot of you might be thinking that Olive green isn’t your color. That was what I said too a couple of years ago, and now it is the color I’m buying the most.

This look is my second fall style from Nordstrom, using olive green. I kept the same jeans and top (I’ll talk about that in a minute), so you can see how easy it is to change things up in your wardrobe. Change out your shoes and accessories, add a different coat, blazer, or sweater, and you have yourself a whole new look.

This Plaid Blazer is a great way to add just a touch of Olive green to your look. The blazer looks beautiful with the olive turtleneck sweater, but I’ve worn it before with pink and cream, and it looked great with both of those colors. I think it would also look great with camel or chocolate, so I’m going to try those colors with it soon. The blazer fits TTS; I’m wearing a size 10, which fits great.

Now, for this soft and cozy Olive Turtleneck Sweater! I like the muted olive green color; it is the perfect color that looks great with a lot of skin tones. The sweater is also available in rust, and I’m thinking that I might need to grab that one too. You might need to size down in this sweater since it is a tad bit oversized. I’m wearing a medium, but I could go smaller. However, I think I’ll stick with the medium since I don’t like anything to be tight and show my lumps and bumps.

It is a finished and polished outfit unless you add accessories. I wear the 18 Kt. Gold Cross Necklace daily, and I rarely remove it, not even for a shower. I like the dainty look of the necklace barely peeping out from the turtleneck. The Sophee Drop Earrings are one of the first pairs of Kendra Scott earrings I bought, and I just keep adding more to my collection.

Now that it is fall, I’m carrying the Brahmin Croc Embossed Satchel a lot. It seems like a fall bag to me, although I have no idea why. This is a GORGEOUS handbag, and it is one that you will treasure. This was a gift from my husband for Valentine’s Day, and it might become a tradition for him to buy me one each year.

I love these suede Pointed Toe Mule shoes! The matching chunky chain is a great style detail that gives the shoes lots of interest. This color looks great with all my fall styles from Nordstrom, and I also bought the plaid version with a black chain. These mules are so easy to slip on and kick off, and I reach for them anytime I’m in a hurry to get out the door. They run TTS; I’m wearing my usual size 9.

NordstromĀ offers free shipping and free returns; it is super convenient. I love trying on clothing in the privacy of my home, but I hate paying for shipping and returns. That is one reason I love shopping atĀ Nordstrom; it never costs me anything to try new clothing styles.Ā NordstromĀ offers BOPUS (Buy Online Pick Up in Store) and contactless curbside pickup options.

Nordstrom and ShopStyle Collective sponsored this post, and I will receive compensation, but the opinions expressed are my own.

I love all the looks in this post. In your post the navy jacket looks much brighter than it does online. Is more bright or a true navy? While I have been drawn to the olive green color for several years, this year I have found myself drawn to a rust color (which I never was before). I even got a new blazer much like the plaid one you modeled in this post that is in the rust tones.

Paulette, the peacoat is more navy. It is showing brighter because I’m in the sun and the camera adjusts the color.

I like both options but especially love the blue coat. The shade is beautiful. Blazer looks great also.

I really like both outfits you created! I like how changing your accessories and topper give it a totally different look.

Love everything except the mules. Nasty color and not flattering with your foot skin tone.

Lol! Thanks for your input, Elizabeth.

Gotta ask about the mules… Do you always have to wear them without any type of foot covering/sock? And how do they stay on your feet when needing to walk?

Miriam, I wear them without socks. I hardly ever wear socks, so this isn’t weird to me. They don’t fly off my feet, although I have a pair of mules with satin insoles, and I can’t keep those on my feet at all.

Girl, you look fabulous & I’m so proud of you for losing weight! The blue blazer outfit is my fav & looks great w your eyes & hair! Love the boots & jeans!

Thanks, Charlcy! I love the blue outfit, and the coat is so classy looking.

I love the outfits today. I donā€™t wear frayed jeans because my hubby said to me once that they look like something you would put on a scarecrowšŸ¤£šŸ¤£ Believe it or not he is very style conscious and has very good taste. Just one manā€™s point of view.

Sandy, Joe said something to me like that about a dress. I love that dress, and I get tons of compliments every time I wear it. They don’t know everything when it comes to fashion.

Love the olive sweater on you! But tried to find it and it’s gone. Timing is everything.

Leslie, grab the rust color if it is still available. It would look great with the coat.

Love both of these outfits…. Wishing my body type was a great deal more like yours so I could pull these outfits off as well as you do… Thank YOu

Iā€™m sure you would look great in these outfits.

The blue coat paired with the olive is perfect!

I love the combination too!

The top outfit with the blue pea coat just may be my favorite overall outfit ever on you! LOVE!

Cindy, this coat is so gorgeous. I have several outfits already taken with it, and each is fabulous.

Great outfits! When I click on the link for the peacoat it looks much darker on the Nordstrom website. You say navy and so do they but the Nordstrom coat looks so much darker. I like yours better.

The coat is navy, but I was in the sun, so it shows up lighter.
