The ministry pointed out on Twitter that the facility will begin operations after a process of renovation and improvement of comfort. These actions allow the addition of 4,000 new rooms.

Islazul has 60 hotels across the country, including beach, urban and natural categories, designed to meet the most diverse tastes, all of which are backed by quality service and connections to Cuban culture and folklore.

According to Hector Silva Morales (Hector Silva Morales), the representative of the chain in the western provinces of Havana and Mayabek, as far as "Gran Caribe" is concerned, seven facilities in the capital will start operations: Inglaterra , Vedado, Capri, Nacional, Atlántico, Habana Libre and Presidente hotels.

Cuba is moving towards a controlled and gradual reopening of borders and tourist facilities. One of the security guarantees is that more than 90% of the population has been vaccinated before the opening date.

In addition, tourism, transportation, customs, immigration and aviation staff, and public health personnel are among the first to be vaccinated, and they will receive the booster before November 15.

First of all, the Ministry of Tourism has cancelled the mandatory quarantine and PCR testing for international travelers when they arrived in the country since November 7 last year.
