The young jewelry brand Veert has collaborated with Instagram to launch a new jewelry collection that will be exclusively sold through its handle on the social media app @itsveert.
The series includes jewellery and porcelain bowls, which will be sold in limited quantities from now until December 15th, and can be purchased using Instagram's in-app checkout function.
The product debuted today through a live shopping event, hosted by Dennis Todisco of Instagram, Veert founder Julia Lang, and hip-hop artists Westside Gunn and Swizz Beats participated.
This event coincided with Veert's one-year anniversary-this up-and-coming brand has achieved incredible success this year.
"In an era when we are separated and isolated, hope and inclusiveness are more needed now than ever before," said Julia Lang in a statement when Veert debuted in November 2020. "We don't just want to produce another product. We want to be a catalyst for empowerment, healing energy and solidarity. There will be no traditional gender separation in our products and collections. We firmly believe that Veert aims to bring us all together All ages, races, geographic regions and gender identities are linked by an undeniable desire for taste and positive self-expression."
Drop's exclusive product line includes two 18k gold-plated enamel 3-D logo necklaces (large and small) and a gold-plated porcelain bowl designed with Buddhist scripture leaves. The necklaces are handmade and are limited to 115 pieces each; the bowl is also handmade in Germany and is limited to 55 pieces.
This shopping event coincides with Instagram's increased holiday efforts to focus on small businesses and creators on its platform, thereby encouraging users to use its shopping features and keep transactions within the app. The'Gram will host a holiday pop-up store live broadcast series from December 5th to 15th, and more details will be announced one after another.
