The Ottawa police are looking for more information about the burglaries and robberies that occurred in Orleans in September, especially specific items that were stolen.

The police said in a press release that at about 4:30 am on September 1, two suspects broke into a house on Waterfern Way, forcibly locked up the people who lived there, and stole the jewelry.

Some jewellery was later discovered, but the police said there was one item that stood out: a gold-plated pendant with seven pearls. The necklace has emotional value to its owner, and the police said its whereabouts are still unknown.

Investigators want to talk to anyone who may be aware of the incident, including any residents in the area who may have dash cam lenses or security lenses.
