How did Joc Pederson's pearl necklace break?

Ironically, it was during Brian Snitker's (Joc Pederson) game that his necklace broke. Don't worry, he has a substitute ready.

Pedersen did not face rookie genius Luis Garcia, while Snittke chose Eddie Rosario, Adam Duval and Jorge Soler in the outfield. In the end, this decision was a success for the captain-like several other difficult decisions on Friday night-the Braves stole the third game at Truist Park.

Travis d'Arnaud used Pedersen's bat to add a single home run, which means that Joc did participate in the game in some way, shape or form. But before he is ready to play in the fourth game with any role Snitker requires, Pedersen needs some new pearls.

It would be nice to have a jeweler on call to change the necklace, but Pedersen’s pearl itself has become a symbol of worship. It just feels wrong to see Pedersen without his pearls in a bomb shelter or on the court.

Pedersen’s jeweler did not hesitate to question why he wore pearls in the first place.

"This pearl necklace is not very expensive," said Gabe Arik, according to Sports Illustrated. "They are really good, high-quality pearls, but the retail price is like four.... He has a gold chain with diamonds, for example, 40. But I don’t know. Everyone Talking about it, everyone wears it."

Pedersen wanted something different, and he got them. The former Cubs and Dodgers outfielder was selected by the Warriors before the trade deadline. They lost Ronald Acuna and Marcel Ozuna at different points this season. Atlanta general manager Alex Ansopoulos traded four outfielders before the deadline, and they all performed well and benefited the Warriors.
