Quincy, quality. (WHDH)-On Wednesday, police were looking for a suspect in Quincy for snatching a necklace from a man's neck.

According to Quincy Police, a victim reported that a large black SUV approached him on Hancock Street around 3:30 pm and a female passenger waved to him.

The police said that she then tried to wear a necklace around his neck. In doing so, she took off the victim's necklace, threw the worthless jewelry on the ground, and then galloped away.

The female suspect was described as thin, light brown skin.

Accompanying her was the driver of this SUV, with a burly figure, light brown skin, a round face and a beard.

According to reports, there are two young children in the back seat.

According to the police, elderly residents are usually the target of such jewellery scams, and their jewellery is exchanged for worthless imitation gold.
